Original yarn painting print. A bird is chirping at the top of a mountain to Tonatiuh the Aztec sun god. The opposite is represented by a vast ocean full of life. The fish represent the Aztec goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, goddess of the alive waters, lakes and oceans.
This yarn painting was made using cotton yarn on a square wood panel. Every string of yarn is carefully glued on the wooden panel, creating a particular abstract form with the movement of the threads.
This multi-tone print has been printed on high quality mate paper. You can actually see the detail of the yarn on the print.
