At Market in the Alley, we are curating an experience that highlights our local handmakers, thoughtful designers and curators of vintage and found goods. Our community of vendors create and sell various forms of art, photography, jewelry, apothecary items, clothing, gift, and lifestyle items. Food ranges from specialty bakery and dessert offerings to farm fresh popsicles.
Before you can apply to become a vendor at either our in-person or virtual Market in the Alley, you must thoroughly read through our brand guidelines to see if Market is the right fit for your brand!
The Smiley logo was inspired by our Market culture. We often say our Market is a ‘good vibes only’ Market, as we believe all obstacles and challenges can be addressed in a friendly and respectful manner. Local graphic designer, Jamie Cat Creative, created this logo for us and we couldn’t love it more.
We are currently hosting Mini Markets at our main property, Fergusons Downtown on the rooftop above Mothership Coffee Roasters and in the Yard. Our address is 1028 Fremont St. Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Before we put the live Market on hold, we had begun sustainability initiatives that are as follows:We are a meat-free Market and only work with vendors serving vegan and vegetarian faireWe released a signature Market in the Alley stainless steel cup, encouraging Market-goers to cut down on plastic-waste while at the event. All beverage vendors (including the speakeasy) offer 20% off of beverages for those who use this cup at the MarketWe launched a bike valet and stroller parking at the entrance to the Market in hopes that more folks will begin riding their bikes and walking to the eventKeeping sustainability in mind, we do not allow vinyl signage or pop up tents inside the venue. We encourage vendors to hand make their signs or work with local producers to create distinct signage for them. We offer 14" x 16" wooden signage that is on brand with Market in the Alley for every vendor.During the shutdown, when we hosted Virtual Market and were shipping online orders. We have committed to using only eco-friendly shipping materials. This means we sometimes ship products with materials that are being given a second-life, other times we utilize recyclable Kraft materials from Eco Enclose, with compostable packing tape. When we open up the live Markets again, we also have a handful of initiatives planned including water stations and compost education!
